What impact did radio and movies have on american culture?

May I please have a simple but sorta detailed explanation? What impact did radio and movies have on american culture? The invention of radio and the movies had a vast impact on American culture. The world of entertainment was available to almost everybody in the United States. For instance David Sarnoff, head of RCA, wanted to bring classical music into most American homes because of the radio, The radio made it possible for news to travel instantanously to most Americans. It made the people of the U.S. more informed. It gave a vast audience to entertainers like Jack Benny, Fred Allen, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Duke Ellington and others.

Everybody could hear the "Big Bands" like the Dorseys, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc. just by turning on the radio. The movies were responsible for making stars like Gloria Swanson, Shirley Temple, Mary Pictford, famous. Before the movies, Broadway stars and Vaudeville stars were known only to a limited audience. The movies became one of America's major art forms. The invention of the movies had a great impact on how America saw itself as well as the rest of the world did. Because movies went all around the world. Televiasion later continued the process. I hope that thyis has been a help to you. What impact did radio and movies have on american culture?Thank you voters. But what a waste of time!
