What book got you into reading?

I started reading the Geronimo Stilton series when I was in the 3rd grade and I stopped reading novels from the 5th to 6th grade. Then in the end of grade 7, I started to read Harry Potter and I got addicted to reading.

So my question is: What book got you into reading? What book got you into reading?
Harry Potter!

When i was in kindergarten, my crazy aunt showed me COS but my parents didn't want me to see. Well i got really scared, but i liked the story. In first grade my dad read them o me, but the summer before second grade i started to read them myself. I know, you tihnk i'm lying, but i'm not!

See, Harry Potter proves, reading is magic.
i hate to say it but Twilight about 3 years ago when i was in 7th grade. i think because after that i sort of started getting the idea of what kind of books held my interest which are mostly fantasy, fiction, and romance. before that i used to automatically think that books were boring because i was choosing the wrong ones. before that i only read because we had to do book reports for school or in elementary we had to go to the library every week and borrow a book. What book got you into reading?
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magican's Nephew. It all started with me staring at this book, on my brother's bookshelf. One day while he was at school (I was probably in 2nd or 3rd grade)- I got home before he did- I managed to sneak into his room and steal that book. I was hooked! From then on, my parents had to take either my lamp or my book away every single night because I couldn't stop reading.
Harry Potter, Roald Dahl books, animal stories, Ruby Holler, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, and lastly, my own story ideas from earlier childhood that I am working on right now. Those ideas really did help me enjoy reading, since I created them...if that counts. :D

Happy reading! Can you help me? PLEASE?
