Any good movies about the American Civil War?

Have seen The Patriot(Mel Gibson), Gettysburg(Tom Berenger), Dances with Wolves(Kevin Costner), Andersonville(Jarrod Emick), The Beguiled(Clint Eastwood) and maybe a few more which I do not recall atm.

Morgan Freeman, Matthew Broderick.



Its about a black unit lead by Broderick (they didn't allow black officers). It's worth watching once.

-The General (Buster Keaton), silent comedy set during and with battle action of the CW

-Gone With the Wind (Clarke Gable, Leslie Howard, Vivien Leigh), set in GA during the war

-Birth of a Nation (D.W. Griffith), silent masterpiece about the war/reconstruction--it does have a fair amount to do with the KKK and racism thoughAny good movies about the American Civil War?gone with the wind
