American movies in Europe?

Do they play American movies in Europe? Specifically the Italy-Greece area?American movies in Europe?all the european countries play american movies, the ones with a high population dub the movies, the ones with small populations (the nederlands, sweden, etc) usually don't dub them and use subtitles instead.

i know that italy usually dubs the movies but a greek friend told me that movies are subtitled in greece, since it only has like 11 million inhabitants.

larger cities have english cinemas and theathers, they play the latest movies, but in english (at least in germany)

hope i helped you a little :)American movies in Europe?
I am from Italy, I would say they play nearly 99% of all the American movies and TV series. Movies are even released in theaters on the same day they are released in the US... Everything that is spoken in English is dubbed in Italian.
They even showed Tila Tequila and Jersey Shores, these dubbed in Italian as well (go figure...)

Remember, the US thrives on the entertainment business, it's one of the nation's most remunerative source of income. The US works very hard on exporting the most of their music and shows abroad.American movies in Europe? There are movies from other countries including the Americas shown here in Italy. However, it's not so easy to find movies in the original language; they will be mostly dubbed in Italian. Some of the larger cities will have movies in English, but not all theaters that do this have them every night. There's a theater in Modena that used to have movies in the original language on Wednesdays only.
