we all like american movies , we all know how good they are in this business , in fact, american movies are the only movies we really enjoy watching , but there are some tapes in some movies that when non american watch them they would wish if these tapes were not in the movie were not existed, some films that disrespects there culture, here are some examples about movies that carried an ugly message about a certain group or country

the prince and me it is a movie about a dinish prince that hates his sophisticated life in Denmark and chooses to spend some time in america to taste the freedom of united states , and falls in love with a girl , the daughter of a farmer , the movie didnt show that he fell in love with the daughter of the american president not with the ambassador but the farmer it makes you think that prince of Denmark is not good enough for any one better in america , while that farmer is liked and loved from the dinish society more than there own queen that is in the second part , and also in the second part not any one who works in the dinish government could find the low of there owen country but she could and did

the movie mummy who hasent seen it , any way ,the movie shows the great legacy of ancient Egypt but in a really ugly way and defenses the theft of ancient monuments the movie tries to show you that Egyptians dont deserve to own there own land and treasure and the american can steal it anytime he likes ,

and the movies about Russian , oh , they are so much , and the Russians are always the bad evil dark and ugly person who always has a plan to destroy the us , and in the movie the us hero is the Innocent person who is just defending his land , wile in reality it is exactly the opposite , and in the movie if there is any evil plan or gang it has to have a Russian member , i have never seen an american movie that has a Russian charrector unless they are bad or evil and i dont think i need to mention an example because they are so many

and the hurt locker is such a faked film ,and shows exactly what the us soldiers didn't do witch is protect and save in Iraq they killed and destroyed Baghdad , and even if an irqi wanted to defend his occupied country then he is a terrorist but when the us soldier interns his country and die while trying to kill people there he is a HERO why is that?

and i also have soooo many examples witch i havent mentioned here

now dont you think that many american films carry an ugly image about other cultures ?

or that they are just funny and innocent tapes that without it the movie wouldnt be as good as it is with it ? and if so then it does abuses that culture by giving an ironic image of there traditions , and exaggerate there habits and way of speak , and act ,

and whan someone from that country watches the movie dont you think that they would feel ahhhh how do i say it less human than the american ,

It really needs to be something before I will even go to a movie.

The irony is that in the long run it will backfire because America now presents that all good is America and if it is bad it is those other people.

America does not have a monopoly on things that are good.

Yes there is the American dream but this term is not limited to the US. Even in America a lot of people love Americanism but not America.

Let me tell you a little secret, these movies aren't 100% true. There are morals in movies but they also embellish stereotypes as do we all and guess what, non-American films make fun of America as much as they make fun of them.Some american movies abuses other countries?American movies carry stereotypes as much as any other country in the world. The hegemony of Hollywood is usually to produce patriarchal films - in other words, American films usually champion men over women. Look at Film Noirs from the classic Hollywood period; there's nothing more demonic than the Femme Fatales which attack the men for no other reason than greed and sex in those films. However, it's not simply Hollywood that produces films like this - the British films, European films, African films, all contain stereotypes and ideals that are, in the light of society, taboo yet are contained within everyone's minds. The exaggeration of such identities (black people, Jewish people, people of any different ethnicities) are shown to be different, and that way of life is poisoning to the "normal" people that appear in those films. You only have to look at the House Un-American Activities in the 1950s, where people in American film were put before a judge and trailed to see if they were Communists. So, basically, it's not just Hollywood films that carry, as you say, "ugly messages" about groups of people or a society, and it will long continue.
