Know any Spanish language shows, movies or games that would appeal to a male American teenager or young adult?

I think watching tv would be a great way to learn another language, but all I can find are telanovelas. I think I'll learn better if the material is entertaining.

Final Fantasy

Telanovelas suck! Even for women! They are AWFUL!



Go into Imdb. Do you know how it works? Everything is hyperlinked. Start by searching Benicio del Toro, Javier Bardem, Antonio Banderas (look for his work in Spanish), Pedro Alm贸dovar, Carlos Saura.



Then, once you have found someone whose work you like, watch everything you can by them. Watch other movies that the same actors have been in.



Oh...you might want to brush up on the Civil War, the Franco years, and the effects on Modern Spain, to understand their work.
