the geeks, the preps, the jocks, the nerds, the losers, the midget, the sluts, the blacks, the freshman, and the supernerds. Are real american teens as they r in movies?Where there are people, there are labels. Yes, teens label one another...but so do all the adults I know. The whole cheerleader thing might be more true within the public schools. I would imagine that teens are portrayed as being more shallow and promiscuous than many of them actually are. While there may be people like that out there, I don't know very many of them personally. Many teens are quite intelligent, show a keen interest in the arts and humanities, and are anxious to become more politically involved. They don't show that side of things in the movies very often, probably because short cheerleader skirts sell more movie tickets than a documentary about the debate team would. Are real american teens as they r in movies?
well.... yes. at least at my school it was. I was a cheerleader who was popular. We had tons of stereotypes at my school. We had our goths, punks, preps, cheerleaders, wanna be's, you name it!Are real american teens as they r in movies?not at my school
