How accurately do the movies Juno, Superbad, and American History X depict culture?

I'm doing an essay for a sociology class, and I'm wondering what everyone thinks. Why does everyone think these movies do or do not accurately depict the culture in each of the societies of these movies?How accurately do the movies Juno, Superbad, and American History X depict culture?I think that sometimes films like American history X are descriptions of the real world! which while it might be exagerated is unfortunately inbeded in our true human nature! and it does repeat itself not only in American films, but also all over the world! and not only films, but reall life, and this is the reason it finds itself as a film accepted and widespread!



Think about it. Prisons have only one sexs kind of people in there as if commiting a crime would automatically disband them from their being sexual beeings! the whole idea of segregation from the other sexs as punishment or in order to get the prison to be more peacefull and under controll is just rubish and completely out of date!



I think man and women can live together in a prison! and that we do not need a society to set rules and values for which some people are an exception (rules such as sexual tabus), and then use this same tabu as a means of punishment, say "well if you go to prizon you will be raped by a member of your own seks! (i.e. what goes against our values, and rules".



So in this respect the society punishesthe criminals by those other extra means, which might be fair to some but what remains as a truth is that this system does require a cooperation and a collaboration between so colled onest citizens (yea if you go to prison you will get it!) and those reall criminals that actually do those rape games! and get the sickening highs!



I think this is so hypocritical! of an alliance betwen the devils of oour society who wants to put boundaries to our potentials and freedoms! as well as rights!



We obviously accept them and do nothing about them because we think that we will never go to prisson, but we also allways hear of imprisoned people who stayed there for years untill found innocent!How accurately do the movies Juno, Superbad, and American History X depict culture?http://movienow.biz/details/mo鈥?/a>
