The movie “Wag the Dog” presents a cynical view of elections and the media’s participation. “American President” presents a very idealistic point of view of the political process. How do they represent the political process? What are the public’s opinion of the government? What is view of the political process in the movie and what is your viewpoint?How do these movies represent the political process? "Wag the Dog" and "American President"?Neither movie represents the reality of American politics although both a grains of truth in them. The public's opinion of government often depends on their political leanings: conservatives mistrust government (except the Defense Department) and don't think it's capable of doing much of anything correctly; liberals trust government (except the Defense Department) and think government can solve all the problems that government caused.How do these movies represent the political process?
