What would primary sources be for movies and its influences on American children from 1900-1960?

I have a paper and I've been trying to find newspaper articles from that time period, but have had no luck. Is there any other primary sources that would be helpful for me?



1 more question: I have a book written in 1952 about this subject. The book written in 1952 would be a source for information about 1952. If it was talking about the 1930s, say, it would be a secondary source about the 1930s.
