Why does Isla Fisher have an american accent in ALL her movies?

I have just found out that Isla Fisher is actually Australian! And now she's living in England.



I just listened to her accent in one of her interviews and she definitely doesn't have an American accent so why does she always have one in her films?Why does Isla Fisher have an american accent in ALL her movies?This is true of a lot of Australian actors in Hollywood - Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana and Naomi Watts for example.



Although Isla's native accent is Australian, she was actually born in Oman. Her parents are Scottish. They moved to Australia when Isla and her brothers were very young.



Isla has used an Australian accent in several lesser known films, including London, Dallas 362, the Wannabes (which was filmed in Melbourne, Australia) and the Pool (filmed in Prague).Why does Isla Fisher have an american accent in ALL her movies?haha, she plays a lot of characters that qualify for her to sound American.
