You probably had your DVD player set to watch PAL and then accidentally switched the DVD player back to NTSC. It should be a simple series of button pushes to cycle back to the PAL format.

I have a DVD all-range player Sd-2815 and the section that plays American movies works fine but ...?
The part that plays PAL and the other ranges or whatever they are called are not working properly. I was playing a PAL formatted DVD and I pressed something on the remote control and horizontal lines began to roll. The sound is fine and the picture would be fine save for the rolling horizontal lines.
